Writing:

Well, I'm still praising Deas for Patrick W. Carr and his adventurous series. I really couldn’t be more pleased with this series.

There was a perfect execution of highly complicated plots and sub-plots with tons of adventure, just enough romantic tension and really high stakes.

Each book in this series received 5 stars from me. It’s on my shelf of ‘to read again’.

I will be reading whatever Carr puts out in the future, that’s for sure.

Main Characters:

Errol: I love his transformation. I knew it was going to be good.

Liam: I found myself rooting for him at times and felt like a traitor to Errol. For that reason, I like his existence as a contrasting character and appreciate how Carr used him in the series.

Plot and pacing:
Perfect.

The religious allegories, like Scriptural Old Testament Law vs New Testament relationship are beautifully played out in the third installment.
Inconsistencies:

Romance:

Clean. Suitable for any age.
